Trivia Rules and Format

Questions and Answers

  • The host will read through each question, play a song while your team deliberates and turns in your guess, then re-read the question before revealing the answer

Only one answer is allowed per team for each question, which cannot be changed once it has been turned in. If an answer is turned in without a wager, the lowest remaining point wager will be used. If no answer is turned in, your team will not receive any points.

There are six rounds. Each round contains three questions.

For rounds 1,2, and 3 in the first half of the game, teams must assign the point wagers of 1,3, or 6 each once per round, in any order they choose.

For rounds 4,5, and 6 in the second half of the game, teams must assign the point wagers of 2,5, or 7 each once per round, in any order they choose.

Incorrect guesses do not lose points, so it’s always a good practice to submit your best guess.

Teams will have one song (about 3-4 minutes) to type in their team name, their answer, and their point wager in the app to send to the host.

A one-minute warning and a “last call” for answers will be announced by the host.

There are four total bonus questions following rounds 1, 2, 4, and 5.

Bonus questions are always answered by a number.

Teams will have one song (about 3-4 minutes) to enter their team name and their numeric answer in the app to send to the host.

A one-minute warning and a “last call” for answers will be announced by the host.

The 50% of teams who are closest to the correct bonus answer will receive 1 bonus point.

There is one halftime question at the midpoint of the game.

Halftime will have 4 or more possible correct answers.

Teams will have 2 songs (about 6-8 minutes) to type in their team name and their 4 best guesses (no more than 4 guesses may be submitted) in the app to send to the host.

Teams will receive 2 points for each correct answer. If a team gets all four of their answers correct, they’ll receive 1 additional bonus point for a possible total of 9 points.

There is one final question at the end of the game.

The Final question is multiple parts where teams can wager anywhere from 0 and 15 points.

If any part of the Final is incorrect, teams will lose all of the points they wager. The answer must be entirely correct to gain points.

Teams will have 2 songs (about 6-8 minutes) to type in their team name and their final answer in the app to send to the host.

There is one theme round.

One round of questions has a common “theme” based on words in the questions and answers of that round. If your team can correctly identify the recurring word, homonym, theme, etc. in all three questions or answers in that round, you will receive 2 bonus points. You will not be told which round is the Theme Round… it’s your job to figure that out!

There is one online hint.

Visit www.lastcalltrivia.com for the hints of the week. One of the hints listed on the website will be an answer to one of the questions. You will not be told which hint will be used nor which question it is for, so be on the lookout!

Important Note:  At Theme Shows, there will be no Theme Round, as the whole game has a common theme and no online hint. Please disregard this section of your gamesheet.

Feud Rules and Format

Last Call Feud’s format is 6 rounds of questions with 3 questions in each round. In between each round, there’s a bonus question, a halftime question, and, at the end of the game, a final question.

The host will read through each question twice, play a song while your team deliberates and types in your guess, then re-read the question before revealing the answer.

Teams may either submit one answer or try to guess all three answers, which cannot be changed once sent. If no answer is entered, your team will not receive any points.

There are four rounds of questions.

Each round has five questions.

There are two bonus questions following rounds 1 and 3.

There is one halftime question at the midpoint of the game.

There is one final question at the end of the game.

The Final consists of 5 separate questions on which one team member will represent your team for each part.

For each part of the question, have your team member sign into the Last Call Trivia app with the live show code and your team name. The question will be read aloud and then the participating team member will have about 5 seconds to type in and send their best guess.

Answers will be announced once all five parts are finished, and then final scores and winners will be announced.

Music Bingo Rules and Format

What to expect

Music Bingo events consist of two separate 1-hour Bingo games, for a total of two hours. The songs for each 1-hour game have a theme, like “Girl Groups” or “Drinking Songs.” The themes vary and cover a variety of genres and decades so there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

At the start of each game, players receive a Bingo card. But instead of numbers like a traditional game of Bingo, each space on the card has a song title.

The host will play each song for at least 30 seconds. If you have the song title on your Bingo card, mark it off. Prizes are awarded to the first player to get a Bingo, Double Bingo, or Blackout.

Rules

The host will play each song for at least 30 seconds. At the end of the clip, the host will announce the song title so players can ensure they marked it correctly.

If the song title is listed on your Bingo card, mark it off with an X or other symbol of your choice. Make sure the song title is still legible so your card can be verified if you win.

The first player to mark five songs on a single Bingo card in a row, column, or diagonal line will yell out “Bingo!” The host will pause the music to confirm whether a Bingo has been reached on the player’s card.

The host will then resume the music. Play continues until the first player achieves a Double Bingo (two rows, columns, or diagonals on the same card) and yells out “Bingo!” The host will pause the music to confirm the Double Bingo on the player’s card.

The host will again resume the music. Play continues until the first player achieves a Blackout, where all the spaces on a single card have been covered. The host will stop the music to confirm the Blackout on the player’s card. A confirmed Blackout marks the end of the Music Bingo game.

Note: If at any point “Bingo” is incorrectly shouted, the game will continue from where it left off. In the case of a tie where two players shout “Bingo” simultaneously, the player with the most total spaces covered on their board will win the tie.

FAQ

You’ll hear a one-minute clip of a song. During that time, take a look at your Bingo Card and see if the song title is on there. The host will then read the title so you get a fair chance to mark it before moving on to the next song.

You’ll get a little bit of everything. The majority of songs are well-known and easy to remember. The goal is not to stump you, but to make sure you’re having a great time.

Be the first person to get Bingo, a straight-line up and down, side-to-side, or diagonally. Shout “Bingo” and let the host check your Bingo Card.

Or, be the first person to get Double Bingo, the first person to get Blackout (all squares covered), or solve the creative word puzzle at the bottom of your Bingo Card.
