I still remember attending my first Trivia night back in 2013. A group of my coworkers were discussing some options for happy hour venues and when we saw that a spot down the street was hosting a Trivia Night, we decided to go for it. I was instantly hooked. Round One

Today’s game begins with an Alcohol Trivia question about the meaning behind the name of a popular German liqueur. If you’re ready to dive even further into naming conventions for alcoholic beverages, check out this article to learn about a few of the most common formulas used to create cocktail names!

Next, a Companies Trivia question calls back to a technology company that was started in the mid-1980s. Speaking of technology throwbacks, did you ever get the chance to play the virtual simulation game Lemonade Stand, which was included on the Apple II computer released in 1979?

Bonus Question

Today’s Bonus Question is inspired by the States question from the first round. The Team is asked to guess what the current outright land speed record is in miles per hour. Listen in and let us know if your guess is close enough to earn the bonus point!

Round Two

Who’s ready to add some spice & flavor to your writing? Today’s theme round is all about something most of us see countless times each day – in fact, you’ve just seen multiple instances of it in this sentence alone. That’s right, we’re talking Punctuation Marks Trivia!

Round Two begins with a Music Trivia question about a popular band that originally started as a cover band for another famous group of the early 2000s. Speaking of musicians, here’s your reminder to check out episode #26 of the Podcast for more music Trivia!

Next up, a Symbols Trivia question provides an exciting callback to a punctuation mark mentioned by one member of the Team earlier this episode. Spoiler alert: Here’s a look at the symbol in question if the Team’s enthusiasm for it has you intrigued.

The Trivia Team is given a list of five board games and asked to place them in order based on the number of spaces each of them has. They’re able to talk their way through a few of them pretty easily, but will they be able to properly place the few that pose more of a challenge? Tune in to find out!
