Round One
We kick things off with a Common Bonds Trivia question that challenges the Team to identify a popular ‘90s song and an animated movie that share the same name. If you’re looking for more fun movie facts, check out this article about some of the most influential horror films of all time!
Next up, we’re sticking in the “titles” realm with a Television Trivia question about one of the original titles floated by the co-creator of a long-running TV series. Names can definitely be an important branding element for more than just TV and movies – here are some of the most common formulas used for naming popular cocktails.
The first round concludes with a Technology Trivia question about a digital assistant that was first introduced in the 1990s. Don’t forget to check out episode #6 of the Podcast for a full round of 90s Trivia if this question has you feeling nostalgic!
Bonus Question
Today’s Bonus Question is a callback to the show named in the Television question of the first round. The Team is asked to guess how many seasons of the show have been created to date and there’s a wide range of opinions amongst the players. Whose guess do you agree with? Or would you have gone with something totally different?
Round Two
We’ve reached our theme round for today’s game. Hopefully you remembered to pack your canteen and compass because it’s time for some Desert Trivia!
Round Two begins with a Terms Trivia question about a word that is commonly used to refer to a specific desert feature in the Southwestern U.S. There are three major deserts that can be found in this region, so be sure to tuck that information away in case you ever need to pull it out at a future Trivia show!
Next up, a Fashion Trivia question asks the Team to name a style of shorts that were originally developed for the British Army. For more English Trivia, here’s a brief look at the history and legacy of the Tower of London.
Round Two concludes with a Countries Trivia question about the primary home of the Kalahari Desert. As the Team mentions, there are several interesting documentaries that take place in this desert, including Meerkat Manor, which follows a family of – you guessed it – meerkats.
Final Question
It’s time for the dramatic conclusion of today’s game with a multi-part Final Question. And today’s final category of choice is Television.
The Trivia Team is given a list of four hospital TV shows and asked to place them in order by the number of episodes from most to least. The players have a solid starting point, but a few wild cards cause them to question their initial instincts. Tune in to see if you can land on the right answer!
