Round One
Today’s game begins with an Internet Trivia question about the origin of a common term. If you’d like to further test your tech knowledge, be sure to check out episode #4 of the Podcast for a whole round of Trivia about technology companies.
Next, our Team tries their hand at a Video Games Trivia question about a Japanese company that produced several ultra-popular arcade games. And, conveniently enough, we also have a Podcast episode with a theme round full of Video Games Trivia for you to explore further!
The first round wraps up with a Music Trivia question that asks the Team to name the legendary singer who holds the record for most Grammy wins consecutively in the same category. In more Grammy Trivia, can you guess who holds the record for the most total Grammy wins overall?
Bonus Question
Today’s Bonus Question expands further on the Music question from the first round. The Team is asked to guess how many total Grammy nominations the artist has been nominated for. Do you agree with their methodology? Or would you have made the argument to guess higher or lower? Listen in to see where your line of thinking stacks up!
Round Two
Now it’s time for our theme round! Here’s hoping you were “born ready” because today’s topic is Military Trivia.
Round Two kicks off with a Toys Trivia question that challenges the Team to name the toy that was purchased in bulk by the U.S. military during World War II. Speaking of World War II, did you know that legendary entertainer Josephine Baker served as a spy for the French Resistance during the war?
Next, an Animals Trivia question stumps the Team as they debate which animal might serve as the mascot for a particular branch of the U.S. military. If you’d like to learn more about the animal they guess, click here!
Round Two concludes with a Nicknames Trivia question about the nickname given to the U.S. Marines during World War I. You know we love a callback, so here’s your reminder to check out episode #9 of the Podcast for more nicknames Trivia!
Final Question
It’s time for us to take it home with the Final Question, and today’s category of choice is Beverages.
The Trivia Team is given a list of five soft drinks and asked to guess whether each of them is owned by PepsiCo or Coca-Cola. The players know three of them right off the bat, but in an appropriately dramatic fashion, the remaining two are cause for debate. Could you help them go five-for-five to get the final points? Tune in and find out!
