I still remember attending my first Trivia night back in 2013. A group of my coworkers were discussing some options for happy hour venues and when we saw that a spot down the street was hosting a Trivia Night, we decided to go for it. I was instantly hooked. When the opportunity arose to join the Last Call team, I was ecstatic. Working with a talented and creative team to spread my love of trivia across the country-what could be better! I currently manage sales and outreach in our west coast areas. Outside of work, I love to travel and am also an avid equestrian and Disney movie lover. All Posts

Round One

We’re coming out of the gate today with a Science Trivia question about the published physics study, Maximum Angle of Stability of a Wet Granular Pile. Can you guess what the topic of this study was? Spoiler alert: here’s the published version if you’re serious about taking your wet granular pile skills to the max.

Next up, a Government Trivia question challenges our Trivia Team to name the minimum age requirement for members of the House of Representatives. If you already know the answer to this one, here’s an extra challenge for you: do you think the youngest signer of the Declaration of Independence was over or under the minimum age requirement for the House of Representatives?

Round One concludes with an Architecture Trivia question about prolific architect Frank Lloyd Wright. For those with an interest in architectural marvels, click here to learn more about Sagrada Familia in Barcelona.

Bonus Question

In today’s Bonus Question, we take a deeper dive into the Hanna-Honeycomb House referenced in the Architecture Trivia question from Round One. P.S., Here’s a look at the house for those of you who want to take a peek.

Podcast Episode 7 Round 2

Round Two

In Round Two of today’s episode, our theme is South America Trivia. Grab your passports, because it’s time for a quick Trivia tour across the continent!

Round Two starts off with a Companies Trivia question about a brand named for a region that covers parts of Argentina and Chile. For more outdoorsy Trivia, check out this article on interesting ecosystems from around the world.

Next up, we’ve got a Sports Trivia question about last century’s “Athlete of the Century” as named by the International Olympic Committee (despite the fact that this athlete never competed in the Olympics). Can you guess how many athletes have won a medal in both the Summer and Winter Olympics?

Hope you’re hungry, because for the last question of Round Two we’re talkin’ Food Trivia. Spoiler alert: here’s a recipe for the dish named in the answer if you’d like to try your hand at making it yourself.

Final Question

The show concludes, as usual, with a multi-part Final Question, and the category for today’s Final is Movies. This question was tailor-made for people whose favorite season is awards season (looking at you, Moira Rose).

In today’s Final Question, the Trivia Team is asked to rank a list of four movies based on the amount of Oscar nominations they received. Need a hint to help you narrow down your options? This movie received the most nominations of the four films named in the question!
